NDHS #3: Voss × Ekstremsportveko

June 20–21, 2026 | Bavallen, Voss

🚡 Signed up via Ekstremsportveko?

Then you must buy the gondola pass yourself — it is not included in the Veko registration. Buy it digitally at ekstremsportveko.com with discount code VEKO2026.

If you buy digitally, you do not pick up any pass from us. You scan the receipt in the machine at the bottom of the gondola and get your keycard there.

One of Norway's most legendary downhill tracks is FINALLY part of NDHS!

NDHS and Ekstremsportveko are teaming up this year! Bavallen has hosted National Cup rounds and an upgraded Europa Cup track. The wild and steep course, the view over Voss, and vestlandslefse — June 20 and 21 will be Norway's best DH race!

Difficulty: 9/10

Bavallen DH track is everything downhill should be: rough technical sections, high-speed straights, bike-park berms, a road gap and a river gap. Add the unpredictable West Coast weather and the course can serve up anything from dusty top speed to a steep mud paradise that puts every one of your skills to the test. Transport up is by gondola, not a regular lift. Note that there will be no class for ages 6–9 at this race.

Registration fee: NOK 1,350

  • NOK 750,- (2-day gondola pass)
  • NOK 200,- (Ekstremsportveko fee)
  • NOK 400,- (NDHS race fee, 2 days)
  • NOK 43.75,- ticket fee

Veko Pass: You can upgrade to a full Veko Pass (NOK 2,590,-) for NOK 1,990,- on top. The 2-day gondola pass is not included in the Veko Pass.

Schedule

Saturday

  • Secretariat opens: 07:30
  • Pick up gondola pass at the gondola: 08:00–10:30
  • Pick up race number & chip in the finish area (bottom of Bavallen): from 08:00
  • Course marshal meeting: 08:45–09:00 (mandatory for all guardians of riders aged 10 to 16)
  • Trackwalk: 08:00–10:00 (mandatory for all riders)
  • Free training: 10:00–14:45
  • Seeding: 15:00

Picking up your gondola pass
Gondola passes are handed out down by the gondola itself between 08:00 and 10:30 — not at the secretariat. This makes the trip easier for everyone: meet at the gondola, grab your pass, take the gondola up and do the trackwalk. You then pick up your race number in the finish area at the bottom of Bavallen after the trackwalk. Race numbers can also be picked up in the finish area from 08:00. From 11:00, gondola passes are available in the same place as race numbers — the finish area at the bottom of Bavallen.

Where is the secretariat?
The secretariat is in the finish area at Bavallen — the same place as the finish. See on Google Maps

You can pick up your race number any time after the secretariat has opened, but no one may ride the course without a race number.

Once seeding is finished, riding the course is at your own risk and we do not recommend riding it after seeding.

Sunday

  • Training A (ages 10–14): 08:30–09:30
  • Training B (Jr. & Senior): 09:30–10:30
  • (15–16 may choose A or B based on their own skill level)
  • Free training: 10:30–13:00
  • Final: 13:10
  • Prize giving: at the finish, as soon as the final is over (mandatory for all top 3 riders)

More practical information (accommodation, course marshal info and details for participants and guardians) will follow within the week.

We hope to see you at the start line and your friends and family along the course!
